I picked up Shaky Kane’s “Monster Truck” a few weeks ago for no other reason than I liked the name…

April 17, 2012 12:30 pm I was kind of disappointed that Hickman didn't make it to this list. I really love his style, and I think he still does all of his own covers.
January 26, 2012 1:20 pm Thanks for the tips. A local bar in my town has $6 pitchers of Bells Two-Hearted and that is usually what I pick up there (pretty damn good for that price if you ask me), but that double jack double IPA sounds awesome I'll have to give it a shot.
January 25, 2012 7:15 pm Well I loved this article. Just curious as to what your favorite IPA's are? Any suggestions? I happen to be partial to the Flying Dog double IPA and the Ska Brewery Modus Hoperandi IPA (which comes in a can).
January 11, 2012 3:12 pm Eyebrows were definitely raised when I saw that art score. Thanks for the fix.
January 11, 2012 3:10 pm One of my favorites. I cried at the end. A lot. But in a weird way, I wasn't sad. Actually, it's kind of hard to explain how I felt. I was a mess though. Heaving sobs. Immediately called my mom and told her how much I loved her. Finishing this book, I just felt so happy to be alive and stuff blah blah blah. Anyway, I would recommend it. Buy it.
December 29, 2011 3:45 pm Man, every single issue of this comic has blown me away, and this one is no exception. This was one of the few single issues that I immediately re-read after reading it the first time. While I agree that Maleev isn't the most talented artist to team up with Ellis, he certainly doesn't disappoint here. Remender is definitely a good writer, but I don't think any writer could or would want to try to follow up this run.
December 28, 2011 11:56 am Yeah, I would have to agree with Ron as well. The first comics that I bought were from Image (Spawn and Savage Dragon), and they continue to be the publisher I buy the most comics from. I can't wait for their 2012 stuff though (I am sincerely hoping that Feel Better Now comes out in 2012).
December 28, 2011 11:03 am I've never considered picking up an Archie comic before this one. The fact that the members of KISS are portrayed as demons from another dimension tickles me pink.
December 28, 2011 10:59 am I wasn't really a big fan of the art myself, but the story Hickman is crafting here promises to be pretty good. I think I can suffer through some sub par art to enjoy a great story.
December 8, 2011 12:58 am Yeah, that Avengers Academy cross over was painful. When Slott is on though, he is really on.
