May 4, 2012 10:33 am I was actually surprised they let him do that, too. The first time I read it I didn't pick up on the hidden meaning, but after 15 minutes I realized there was more to the story and read it again.

I'm tired of everyone in the comic book community jerking these guys off because they're in love with the idea of there being real life superheroes. There was a "superhero" named BeeSting that nearly shot a guy in a scuffle because the guy's motorcycle was too loud. Phoenix Jones assaulted a group of people that were dancing. Then there's Jones' friend, Midnight Jack, the peppered sprayed a group of protesters at the MayDay protest. This is all stupid.

March 30, 2012 11:45 pm I was going to get the boxset, but I like hardcover books better than paperback. Plus, it's going to be colored. The only problem is I'm going to have to wait 3 years to get all the books. I have a lot of contemplating to do.

March 2, 2012 4:21 pm My problem with Uncanny X-men is that so far it has focused more on the villains than the X-Men. I get the need to build up the villains, especially when the X-Men need new antagonists, but I would like to see some more focus on the heroes and have them interact with each other more.

February 9, 2012 1:00 pm The moment I read he was retiring from writing Avenger books, the first thing I thought was that he was going to write the X-Men. Bendis is a big name for Marvel and it only makes sense for him to move to another big part of the line. If he does, I'm willing to give it a shot. I'll probably won't like it though because I don't like most of the books he writes, excluding Ultimate Spider-Man.

January 2, 2012 4:17 pm That CM Punk guy you mentioned in the beginning is also a comic book reader. If I'm not mistaken, his favorite writer is Brubaker. Also, there's a rumor going around that he might do something with Jill Thompson for Marvel.
