June 10, 2011 9:38 pm I'm simply loving the Supergirl redesign ... and the cover for Superboy seems interesting ...... but I'm not feeling that Superman design at all
April 2, 2009 8:11 pm I'm with Bart ... Barry's ok but Walley is MY FLASH!!!
June 5, 2008 11:26 am This issue seemed much more like a tie-in than a major issue ... it was lacking in almost every way ... I feel cheated!!!
May 26, 2008 5:10 pm Oh my god this issue was freaking AWESOME!!!! JASON AARON has turned this book around.  His taken a concept from Daniel Way's run and made it GOOD!!! I wish he had done this book from issue one.  I've always been a GR fan but I'm falling in love with the character all over again ... a must read ... oh and the ending was SWEET!!!
May 13, 2008 1:47 pm oh all the stories in this book, I'm looking forward to the Dan Slott stories most ... he really gets spidey
May 8, 2008 3:01 pm I was really un-impressed with this book.  The issue of New Avengers was so much better, this just felt ... flat!
April 9, 2008 4:23 pm I can't recall a time I liked Garney's art soo much.  I loved both his Cap and Hulk runs but I think this is some of his best work.  And I think that Aaron has written on of the best Arc's this title has seen in a loooong time.
April 2, 2008 10:41 am I can't believe people have given the book 5 stars and haven't even read the book yet ... I'm a huge bendis fan but I can't see ranting the book b4 I even read it ... If I bought book based on the rating here I could get skrewed cuz some of you guys ... (rant over) anyway I'm looking forward to the book and I can't wait to see if some of the spoilers I've seen online are true.
March 28, 2008 4:28 pm I've been a huge GR fan for years and after Ennis mini I had high hopes for an awesome GR series.  But "D Way" dropped the ball and did a series that went nowhere and felt flat.  However, there's a new 'Rider' in town and his names Jason Aaron.  He's GR is by far (after two issues) one of the most enjoyable and entertaining run.  He's given the book a fresh yet familiar (those old horror movies ... drive in movie feels) feel.  And the art just add to it.

Well I guess I'm the odd man out, because I really didn't like this issue too much.  It was a bit open handed, the art was beautiful but everyone looked like their on "rodes" and if we are truthful with ourselves we'll see 'nothing' happened.  I know it's just the first issue, but I've seen much better setup issues ... I'll check out the next issue, but check out the first issue of "Cable and Deadpool" ... you can have a good first issue.
