The frog Thor was actually among some of the best comics of all time (The whole Walt Simonson run, really). I think most of the rest of these might end up in a bin with exactly the opposite label.

They must realize that a Superman/Batman film is a license to print money, right? It doesn't have to be a shared Universe in the sense that they would go back and forth between each others films and have to constantly acknowledge the existence of other heroes. Ebay can be particularly bad for buying ridiculous quantities of comics. If you start and say hey what about this run and that run, and oh what about this character -- I have always loved him, and might as well just buy the rest of these to fill out the collection.... Does it really matter whether they are blasters, fliers,  or brawlers when they are all sitting around a table eating breakfast? Because, based on past issues of New Avengers, that will probably be something like 95% of every issue.

Where is Gleason going? He has been doing the Corps for approximately forever. New pastures or will he be shifted to the prime Lantern book? He does great with diverse piles of aliens, which is why he was so perfect for the Corps. I jumped on REBELS after the Blackest Night crossover, so I like Bedard's work there. Nothing else I have run into by him has really hit me though...  

Midnight bombs? Not so useful here. This does not go well for Dr. Mid-nite. I did enjoy the gentrification comment. I was just looking at a map of Manhattan going, say, Hell's Kitchen is actually a nice place to live. Who knew?
