April 4, 2013 8:37 pm An excellent artist who helped build DC Comics. May he rest in peace.
March 7, 2013 8:29 pm YES! It's great to hear some awesome news.
February 26, 2013 12:54 am I won my Oscar pool this year. Dad came in second and Mom dead last. Winner picks where to have dinner and loser plays for it. Happy to see Argo win Best Picture. I was thought it'd be Life of Pi, but I'm happy Affleck got the gold.
February 14, 2013 9:39 pm Great job. The Man-Thing card made me laugh.
January 1, 2013 7:04 pm I've got a ton of stuff on my resolutions list (lose weight and eat healthier/get more active/stop staying up so late/etc.), but a comic related one would be to get rid of some of my collection. Also, I need to organize a lot of them. Gotta get some bags and boards to store them. I'm trying not to buy so many comics since I'm trying to cut down and because I only want to buy the books I really want (Saga and Daredevil namely). I might pop over the shop just to see if there's a book I really want, but it will have to be really good to knock Saga and Daredevil off my pull list.
December 11, 2012 12:24 pm Maybe staff writer, Paul Montgomery's Fuzzy Typewriter podcast or Cameron Rice's Cameron Watches Movies podcast (which Paul is usually a guest on) will cover it.
December 11, 2012 12:13 pm One of the few weeks where I'm not getting any comics this week. Which is good, since I'll be able to take care of Christmas shopping. BQ: Yes, I'm pretty pumped to see it. I'm a little worried since the film is being split into three films. I'm fine with Peter Jackson putting in references that tie into Lord of the Rings, but I just hope it doesn't take away from main story of the Bilbo and rest of the Dwarves.
November 22, 2012 7:37 pm Damn, I feel the same exact way. Thanks, iFanboy, for a parting Thanksgiving gift. Enjoy your vacation.
November 5, 2012 8:04 pm 47 Ronin is the only book I'll be getting this week. I've been trying to cut down to save some money. BQ: I'll be seeing both. I'm more excited to see Skyfall since it has some much going for it (Javier Bardem as the villian, a storyline about the personal life of M, Daniel Craig, Sam Mendes directing? Hell Yeah) I think I might even see at midnight. Lincoln looks and sounds good, but I'm a little worried if the film will be too sentimental judging the tone of the trailer.
October 12, 2012 11:28 am I agree. Blacksad was the best for me too. Beppo looked good too.
