January 10, 2013 11:46 pm Agree with Norm Breyfogle. Detective 619 was my first comic ever and part of the appeal was the cover - Batman doing detective work in his lab. It's a surprisingly uncommon subject for a batman cover and he makes it look riveting. (Look it up, it's great.) And then the length of his run was so long that it totally cemented that look for Batman (and Tim Drake Robin) for me.
