Grant Morrison Talks 'Batman + Robin'

@anson. no, you get it wrong. In FC the silver age kills the 'dark age' as it were. Captain Carrot was on the winning team after all.

iFanboy - Episode #113 - Final Crisis!

On Mar 18, 2009 2:50 AM

Kinda disappointed by Ron in this episode, if I'm honest. It felt like he wasn't even going to try to re-read it, which was a shame. Unless he was intentionally parodying some of the haters on the 'nets when it came out, in which case he's awesome (but I doubt it). I was glad to see Conor and eventually even Josh admit that the story wasn't that hard to follow - yeah, i'll fully admit tha...

When did everyone start taking Grant Morrison's comics so personally?

On Jan 22, 2009 9:00 AM

Wow, epic thread. I wish I had found this a little earlier to be honest, to open up a can of rhetorical whoop-ass on y'all, lol. I just wanna talk about some of the things that have come to mind while reading through this insane collection of warring voices. I may ramble a bit, but let's see if we can get this page up to 200 posts, shall we? ;P Firstly, I'll open up and tell you that I am qui...

The iFanboy Letter Column - 01/16/2009!

On Jan 16, 2009 12:00 PM

I remember Final Night as being pretty good. I read it when I was about 15 and I think it was my first proper company-wide crossover (maybe). I remember Stuart Immonen's artwork was great, especially for the time, and the story was pretty cool. It's got a Legion in it, a great bit with the Warrior version of Guy Gardener and had interesting ramifications for Superman. Well worth a read I think...

Dude, you forgot Flex Mentallo. I got it for a song (if a song is 20 quid) a couple of years ago. It's the holy grail of awesome. Oh, and I have the first 3 volumes of Starman, but the missing issues drove me mad. Thank god for Omnibii!

Don't Miss: PHONOGRAM: THE SINGLES CLUB #1

On Dec 8, 2008 10:33 AM

Awesome Phonogram is back!! I really can't wait for this, vol1 was probably my favourite book when it was coming out, I loved it without reservation. I think like Ron, this book was made for me. Well, not totally, since I was a bit young to be Dave Kohl, but Britpop was the holy grail of my high-school years, so the music resonated strongly with me, and turned me on to loads I've missed. KG,...

Seriously? Yes. I listen to lots of podcasts, they're one of the best things about the new wave of the web, I will gladly join to make sure one of my favourite shows can stay on. iFanboy HAS made reading comics more fun for me. Since my LCS closed, THIS is my comics store, in the talking to random dudes about what you're reading kinda way. I bought more to try to keep my LCS open, I'll defini...
