Moon Knight: Where Do I Start?
May 25, 2012 7:04 am I really think that if you exchanged Bendis's name on his Moon Knight issues with a lesser-known, up and coming writer, but kept everything else exactly the same, that comics fandom would be heaping all sorts of praise on that run.
It really was quite well done. Re-read the whole thing collected and was very glad I did. So well done.

AVENGERS VS. X-MEN #3 (OF 12)
May 2, 2012 12:08 pm JRJR reeeeeeally redeemed himself with this issue (in my opinion)
Not his best work, but night and day difference from issue #2.
I was going to drop this if I didn't dig this issue but I actually really enjoyed it.

Marvel’s Digital Disarray
April 25, 2012 10:00 am Not mentioning Infinite Comics in this article was quite an oversight.
2 years from now, these early experiments with Infinite comics will certainly be remembered as a worthwhile endevour in marvel's digital strategy. AR is an added content gimmick. Could be good for some but also probably not for most readers.

Marvel’s Digital Disarray
April 25, 2012 9:54 am Marvel spent tons of money--and COUNTLESS man hours setting up their Marvel Digital Unlimited program.
Then, just a few years later, phone devices, ect developed into the new digital source. Marvel took inroads into this medium relatively quickly but was understandably a bit cautious. Still, they had books on comixology before the other major publishers (DC and Image) and had date and day books on the platform before those publishers too. Those publishers one upped marvel in the very significant way of having all their books day and date several months before marvel got there.
Otherwise, Marvel has been much more proactive in exploring new digital strategies than DC or Image. And that is continuing now with Infinite Comics and probably far less notably, added AR content.

April 24, 2012 10:55 am Do folks really not trust Bendis with USM???
Moreover, are USM fans really not willing to give this the benefit of the doubt?
Regardless of what a marvel editor WHO ISN'T EVEN ONE OF THE CREATORS ON THIS MINI said ten years ago, perhaps ten years of consistently awesome USM stories ought to give readers reason to mix at least a little optimism into their apprehension?

April 24, 2012 10:49 am Well I hope it will "resonate" in that it will further legitimize Miles as a character and heir to the title. But I'm not sure I want this to affect anything other than Miles' journey.
I'm willing to give this the benefit of the doubt because I still believe that this event will be focused on further developing Miles Morales rather than any permanent link between these unique universes. But of course, I could just as easily be wrong--as pointed out by Mark Paniccia's comments.

April 24, 2012 10:31 am Highly doubt this mini will affect either USM or ASM in any way.
What it could do--and what it is clearly striving to do--is further legitimize the character of Miles Morales as a worthy heir to the Spider-Man name.
Plus, it'll almost definitely be beautifully illustrated with a touching script by Bendis. I trust this duo to make this a great mini.
For those who have either been apprehensive about Miles Morales or for those who have (understandably) just recently tried out Ultimate Spidey since Miles took over: this crossover mini is really a worthwhile story idea (but again, only if it doesn't really affect either Spidey universe--which it clearly won't)

‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ – S01E05 – “Flight of the Iron Spider”
April 23, 2012 1:12 am I can verify that the upcomIng episode written by Bendis takes this show to a whole new level of awesome.
They played it at the marvel tv panel at C2E2 and it brought the house down (it is absolutely hilarious, trust me)
Absolutely awesome episode that plays out similarly to an actual USM story written by Bendis.

AVENGERS VS. X-MEN #2 (OF 12)
April 18, 2012 1:30 pm I can't be the only one who loved how over the top Aaron wrote this?!
This was FUN comics that made Avengers fighting the X-Men out to be the EPIC CONFRONTATION that it ought to be. There should be nothing subtle about such a throw down. Kudos to Aaron. This was a blast.
