On Mar 18, 2010 9:00 AMThe phrase "gender role shenanigans" made me laugh out loud at work for some reason. That was much appreciated, thank you. -J.

On Mar 8, 2010 10:20 AMColor me excited. I'm bias, though. I love JMS' work on "Babylon 5," and his initial run on Spider-Man with John Romita, Jr. So, here's being hopeful. Also, Josh's assessment on WW needing a shake-up is absolutely true. This title has treaded water for way too long. -J.

On Mar 7, 2010 2:23 AMSo, this new Tony Stark isn't to be held responsible for old Tony Stark's actions during Civil War, or post simply on the basis of he doesn't remember what he did? That doesn't absolve the character. It just makes him a callous, insensitive jerk. Does Hallmark even make that a card for that? 'Cause if so, I want to send one to Bill Foster's loved ones. -J.

On Mar 5, 2010 5:21 PMI wish Gail Simone all the best in her future endeavors. I, too, am pulling for a return of Rucka, as his was the name that started me reading WONDER WOMAN in the first place, and I've never stopped. -J.
Go to CommentiFanboy - Episode #152 - DC vs. Marvel!
On Mar 3, 2010 12:08 AMFor the most part, I grew up a Marvel kid. I read the X-Men, Avengers, FF, Spider-Man line of books from the mid to late 90s. The only notable exception being Batman. Batman's always been my favorite character thanks to the Timm cartoon, which has cemented the character in my mind. When I read Batman, it's Conroy's voice I hear to this day. And it was Batman that brought me back into comics ...

On Feb 23, 2010 8:30 AMI would kill to see a "Robin: Year One." That's one of Chuck Dixon's highlights, and that's no small feat considering his body of work with the Batman family of titles. Nice list, all around. -J.

On Jan 27, 2010 1:10 AMI've always loved Mr. Majestic, esp. those issues written by Joe Casey with art by one of my favorite artists Ed McGuinness. Those were big, cosmic Superman stories in a time when the Man of Steel himself was being grounded, and saddled with the baggage of creators who, I think, were a tad too self-aware, too concerned with his big blue boy-scout image. And what I love about Mr. Majestic is, i...
