March 1, 2009 11:44 pm  "Not Like This!" Lets put this damn thing to rest. Hawk didnt say this line on his way out. Hawkeye said "Not like This" then charged fauz Kree warrior, grabbed on to him, triggered his jet pack and then utttered "LIKE THIS!!" as his heroic moment in taking down the Kree spaceship as he flew into the engine.   I dont think this was very well executed by Bendis who only gave it a few panels to relay the story.
February 25, 2009 2:07 pm I really like GL, prolly my favorite DC character but as a new reader to DC comics I totally cannot follow it. I really wish they would start putting recap pages. I'd love to jump on to GL at some point but it seem to chaotic to follow.

That's Dr. Strange in his Blue Mage guise, something he wore for one issue, Loeb said that he always loved that look so he's just going to do it. BTW he also mentioned that Hulk is not in continunity in that same interview, I believe it was on Word Balloon. If you want soem real Hulk action, pick up the Double Sized Herc, a nice story featuring Hulk and Cho in the back.

February 25, 2009 1:57 pm Little disappointed with this issue, totally chaotic, which fits seeing the circumstances but it doesnt get anywhere.

I can understand the aprehension that huge Watchmen fans have with this movie coming out. I felt the same way when Fellowship of the Ring was coming out. I was terrified that the movie was going to suck, and thankfully it exceeded my expecations. I think the important thing is not to review the movie as a word for word recreation of the the book, but as a interpretation of it. That is what made LOTR so damn good as it took oppurtunities to tell stories that were not in the book: Gandalf vs. the Balrog, Faramir and Boromir, The spirits under the mountian, etc..

Hopefully this movie will give us a new slant on Watchmen, while honoring the book. I'll be going to see this in IMAX, and I sure Ill enjoy it regardless.

Great Avenger's week, Cap  and other good stuff. Im ashamed to say I am considering getting Hulk #10. Im a sucker for the Defenders, but I dont know if I can handle the shame.

BQ: Didnt watch it, I knew the movies I liked were going to get jobbed for the overly dramatic sob/joy fests like Slumdog or the Reader. Bleh. Gran Torino getting shut out is unforgivable.

February 23, 2009 11:07 pm @Conor I agree, I think Heroes works best when they focus on a smallish group of people during each episode. We dont need the entire cast each episode. HRG is the fucking man, kinda like Batman in the way he never stops thinking and planning.
February 23, 2009 8:39 pm Bully for subscription. Really pays on stuff like this. Cant wait for this issue, unfortunely that's exactly what ill have to do cuz subscription is mega slow.
February 23, 2009 8:34 pm It would be funny to see HRG in a really embarassing memory like he used to be into disco or something. Then you can roll with all the darkness and evil crap.

Wow, that's tits!. I love the bad ass Claire, especially since she shill breaks down when her father is looking out for her. Now it begins, Mohinder, Parkman, Peter put things into motion, Loving it.

Wouldnt be nice if the "Rebel" was Claude?
