Name: Scott Gorney

Bio: I love comix in many forms,styles.....variety ya know. Love the medium as a whole and the rich culture and history behind and surrounding it. I live in the Detroit area, went to school for special effects and love comix, photography, camping, tattoos, gaming, movies, books, nature, traveling, mountain biking, my ipod, my longboard and most of all my daughter Nova. Its ironic I live comix and my daughter's name is Nova, no I wasn't thinking of the character but I was thinking cosmic, ironic again and wasn't even reading comix for a cpl yrs around the time she was born(2-3-07), never read a Nova comic before but DNA's run on the cosmic corner of Marvel had me loving him and that was me getting back into comix, I'm 33 (2/17/79) and single.....still love comix and again most of all my daughter Nova.

May 26, 2012 12:44 am LOL, yes! Perfect reply.
May 26, 2012 12:39 am Loving Saga and Glory right now, really interested in Prophet and since it wasn't on my radar until it was 20 issues in, I'll either jump on that 1st trade or wait for a bigger collected edition like they're about to do with Fear Agent right after I got all 6 tpb's. Savage Dragon/Larsen are super impressive giving its one of Image's founding and flagship titles but that its been done solo by Larsen (sure he's got help here and there, but are we gonna split hairs?) since the beginning of Image and seems to have gotten better with time, I really think Savage Dragon deserves an Ultimate/Absolute/Omnibus edition asap. Glory has been a refreshing surprise. I want Debris tpb when its done and have to check out Atomics anything.
May 24, 2012 11:02 pm I really thought Moon Knight fit well on the Secret Avengers, looked sweet swooping down in a gliding fashion with the cape, had good contrast next to the other members, and like Black Panther think he works well as a supporting character when written right.
May 24, 2012 10:50 pm Burnham is real good, while he and Pitarra and Gabriel Rodriguez all have a Frank Quietly-esque style, they all do it well without straight up copying it and I love Grant with Burnham from day one.
May 24, 2012 10:34 pm Duanes last comments on warning AWAY from comix is hilarious!
May 24, 2012 10:30 pm I know I'm not the only one who thought, Garth Ennis' Punisher with a red dot on his chest, then scrolled down and saw some beautiful panels, nice. X-O was the right book for Valiant's return and this looks solid too. Both are characters I am familiar with but never got into much other than some Bloodshot/Shi and Bloodshot/Grifter crossovers I believe. I'm also one of the only people I know that really liked or even read Duane Swierczynski's Cable run that ran parallel with the Messiah trilogy (Messiah Complex,Messiah War and Second Coming) which I thought gave both that trilogy and Cable's solo run each other more depth and substance.
May 24, 2012 10:17 pm Beauty and the Beast or what? What fairytale are we relating to? I'm dumbfounded right now and just see the classic nerd gets the girl thing, where's the fairy tale, or is that it? Cause that shit happens in real life, minus the superhero element, too bad huh. Art looks nice and vibrant, at 3.99 like all BOOM!, I'll check out the trade after/if I see some good feedback.
