I also loved the New York Five cover, which stood out on the shelves from the other side of the room.
The Archie Report is back!
I'm so happy this is a period piece, and we get to see Cap in WWII. This means we can skip about an hour of "mild-mannered weakling intro -> super serum -> training montage -> WWII exploits montage -> mission gone wrong/accident -> cryogenic preservation -> man-out-of-time" before getting to the meat of the story.
The idea of vintage cars, men in hats, tommy-guns and late-night parachuting sounds good to me.
I was very young when I watched the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman show on TV, but I remember that the WWII episodes were great, and the current-day episodes were not as good. It seems to me that patriotic character like these work better in a historical context.
