August 28, 2010 9:24 am Were these characters created a long time ago?  Are they supposed to be a Batman sort of knock off.  The premise looks interesting, but when I look at the pictures and can't help to think that I'm walking into a Dollar Store and seeing old Batman castings used to create an inexpensive figure to hang there with really cheap packaging.

People are making it seem like this was thirty years ago...it wasn't that long ago.  But I'm happy to see this universe returning.  I'm hoping Marvel keeps it seperate from their universe.  I really enjoyed the freedom they had to create, but at the same time the unifying theme of every single book.  It had something for everyone and it was always interesting to pick up another book at anytime and be able to find a connection to it through either the sigils or something else. 

 I'm praying they don't ruin anything with it and keep it true to its roots.

Sometimes I think they title these so that that can sell more of their older storylines as trades.

 I'll put money on a Fall of the Mutants Omnibus or special edition that is coming out right around the same time.
