Wait, this cover has them with rings on, they took their rings off last issue didn't they? hmm.
also, has anyone noticed that there is no gl book out this month just the glc book? or is that a glich on dc's page?
@aquaman: i dont think it would be too confusing here, but you might want to just pick up the last issue too.
I'm excited about this, it had better be damn good, and i dont expect whoever it is at the end of this that puts on bats cowl to remain batman for very long. a year or so maybe....
@fleaman: idk about damian being robin especially if time drake is not batman. I mean what are they just gonna retire tim again or is damien going to kill him, like he has tried to before?
@TNC: she is quite the annoying, useless bit isn't she?
I thought that this was well done, though that lady is confusing in a bad way. she seemed not needed for the story, like it would have worked with out her. I was dissapointed with how little character exploration there was here.
for those complaining about the book not containing any "capes" and instead focusing on bullock or thompkins, well i thought that was the point of this book, to try and gauge the effect on those closest to the bat that dont also wear tights, and to give the reader the impression of how the city is with out batman.
I'm worried that they are going to focus too much on grundy fighting capes and other monsters and not seeking to end his curse. If it adds to us understanding grundy's motivations and fears then I say leave it in the book, but I fear that it is going to turn into one of those gundy vs. ____. things. even if it does it would still be fun, just not what it seems to be setting up to do.
@MikeHaseloff: how can they focus on capes and not dedicate pages to gundy and still explore the premise for the mini? also, this is a book titled after gundy, so I think that not dedicating enough pages to grundy would be a bad thing since this is grundy's mini.
wow, just wow. think you guys pretty much have said all i could have added to the "issue"
but about the book.... idk left me feeling like, it was half rushed half written by a person who smoked a bowl every couple of pages. not saying that is necessarily bad its just i know this guy that is working on his own idea for a comic and well he smokes a ton and this kinda had the same feeling to it, like not amazing but decent in a not what i expected still good way.
dam, i messed up that spelling bad.
