April 3, 2009 5:59 am Somehow I've stumbled upon a strange anti-Flash cult group meeting. Slowly, I back away from the group as a make my way to the exit. Running now I make one final leap to safety.......help!!!!
April 2, 2009 5:48 am What???? This was a very good OPENING issue to what looks like is going to be a great return story. This book is easily a 4 for story and art (in my opinion) I completely disagree with this review.
March 13, 2009 6:09 am Sorry NextChampion I disagree with you...as always.... This story following what I thought was fresh and groundbreaking stuff from Morrison seems like anything but fresh. Haven't we been down this road before? This story I hope has some nice plot twists ahead or we have noting more than an updated version of Batman in the 1990's.
February 12, 2009 6:09 am Please read my comment I left in the robbydzwonar review. The same answer fits here as well. This book in my opinion is one of the best I've read in the past 12 months. ***** stars.
The point to this "review" is you need to read some past stories to be more familar with what Gaiman is trying to do in this book. 1. First refer to the Canterbury Tales 2. Refer to the Sandman series of Gaiman 3. Read the recent released trade "Where were you on the night Batman was killed." (issues 291-294) 4. If all less fails watch the Batman Antimated series episode "Almost Got 'Im." #686 is a salute to the Batman legend and borrows from classic, comic, and Batman literature. This may be one of the best comics I've read in the past 12 months. ***** stars.
Final Crisis 1 and 2, Requiem, Final Crisis 3, Superman Beyond 1 and 2, Submit, Final Crisis 4 and 5, Batman 682 and 683, Final Crisis 6 and 7. Outstanding- I've grown tired of all the debate. Let's move on.
@daccampo- I agree- but this reviewer seems to be asking for some reference points so I gave him some.
