I think with 36, and counting, reviews in there isn’t much new to say about this book. But here’s my…

January 9, 2012 1:20 pm Sounds good and I'm all in, but I wonder if this is too much with Batman: Leviathan coming out in 2012 too. A Clandestine Organization with its "Claws" in everything out to destroy Batman and the Bat-Family. I wonder if Bruce's ultimate strategy is to Pit the Court of Owls against Leviathan so that they destroy one another. Ooooh! Someone write that one down!.

August 4, 2011 12:46 pm It's okay.   Not too crazy about the Lizard Skin texture.  Cape looks too long....but I'm nitpicking.
June 20, 2011 2:12 pm That's one AMAZING cover.  Bravo Mr. Coipel, Bravo.
June 10, 2011 5:04 pm The only thing that worries me is George Perez handling the writing chores and not doing the interiors.  Can't think of the last time that Perez blew me away with his writing.  That's 5 Superstar artist handling the writing - Manupul, Perez, Van Sciver (wtih Simone), JH Williams and Finch.  Not much a fan of the Artist turn Writer.
June 9, 2011 1:30 am @Jupiterman - Unfortunately I don't think that is an 'S' taped to Superboy's back as a joke.  It really doens't make sense as most people would have it.  This is the cover to TT #1, they would never set up Connor as the butt of jokes with DC 1st impression for the Team.
If it is ub fact a joke, it's a dumb one.  Why would you tape the 'S' emblem?  It would be like playing a practical joke on a police office by tapping "Police" on their back.
June 8, 2011 4:45 pm @ActualButt - Is there another comic out there that is bringing back the 90s look n' feel?  Granted most of the comics at that time were mainly style over substance but so was Disco music.  Enjoyable, ultimately vapid but has a place in this world.
At one point a Silver-age feel for comics was at one point fresh and different in the industry, and most of us trumpeted that.  We'll see if this take works.
June 8, 2011 1:51 pm I kind of dig the late 90s take on the new Teen Titans.  At the least you can't say that DC wasn't trying something different.  My only gripe, and it's the biggest flub in the DC Reboot, is Goth Superboy.
Does anybody here have someone that is Goth that they find the least bit likable?  That and there is no way in hell would Superboy in his God-like powers go Goth.  Teenagers that adopt this attitude are full of angst and are raling against society for their meekness and insecurities.  Even in Connor is living in Superman's shadow, he's still well within 99.999th percentile in societies' eyes and would be held in such high regard that he would never go Goth.  Unbelievable and poor characterization.
May 31, 2011 6:49 pm I'm all in on this idea.  I wouldn't mind a full reset of the continuity.  I think Allstar Superman showed us that placing talented artist/writers on characters we live without the constraints of years and years of continuity, magic can happen.
Not too sure on peoples' obsession with high numbered comics.  My love and appreciation for comic books is not invested in whether Action Comics #1000 does or does not happen.  I mean the #900 milestone was just hit, is your Comic experience any different or more significant before and after that issue?  No.  A number is arbitrary in the Big Picture.  Give me great storytelling and characterization anyday.
On another note, I think the Superman Costume Change has to happen with I think DC has to give up certain parts of Supe's costume by 2013...or something to that effect.
March 27, 2011 12:08 am Good news.  Ivan Reis on art would be great, but I think he's drawing Secret Origins - Sinestro after Brightest Day.  However things could change.
So Johns has written Superman. Currently writing the Flash and Green Lantern.  Is in the midst of writing Batman (all be it Earth 1).  And now about to write Aquaman.  So other than Wonder Woman and the Maritan Manhunter, he has nearly written all of the Big 7, which begs the obvious that Geoff needs to get his hands on the Justice League.  It kills me that it has been floundering for all these years now.
