Great Moments in Comics History: Fantastic Four #374
May 9, 2013 2:03 pm @thehungrywolf Well considering that the Thing's first appearance had him complaining about not being able to find clothes that fit I think him being in his underwear is a given.

PREVIEW: THE ULTIMATES #15 – This is Happening to Ultimate Captain America [SPOILERS]
September 19, 2012 8:19 pm Personally I think Thor (either 616 or Ultimate) as President would be far more amusing.

09.16.2012 – Episode #352 – The Rocketeer: Cargo of Doom #2
September 19, 2012 12:40 am So while I know for most people the big news this week was Professor X's death. I literally said "Oh no, not Quartermain" out loud during the review of Winter Soldier #10, much to my girlfriend's concern.

BREAKING: Fatal Mass Shooting At Batman Premiere in Colorado
July 20, 2012 2:57 pm I think (and I am by no means an expert in the field of psychology and have no really concrete proof to back up my opinion) that people often immediately look at events like this in a political context as a way of coping with the horrific tragedy of such a shocking and senseless loss of life. By associating news like this with their own political views (whatever they may be) people can avoid having to think about the deeper, answerable questions that horrible events like this raise, find a place to direct their anger, and convince themselves that such things are easily avoidable.
By no means am I apologizing for the behaviour I describe and I too find it to be upsetting, but I think the causes maybe deeper than simple political opportunism.
