Justice League #1 felt like a really good opening act. I mean that literally. Like it almost feels like it’s…

February 4, 2016 7:14 pm If we're pitch dream movies then I'd like to see Black Canary/Zatanna: Bloodspell or the first arc of this Doctor Fate run. Maybe Omega Men.
December 13, 2015 12:58 pm There's still a few other good stuff at DC. Doctor Fate, Omega Men & Grayson to name a few.
September 14, 2015 1:03 am Yknow I think the height thing might be because you all were sitting down and slouching in the video shows
January 25, 2015 6:20 pm I'd throw up the Weeping Gorrilla from Promethea as great comic embodiment of ennui

October 24, 2014 11:21 pm Constantine needs to be more of a bastard, they really should take a cue from Capaldi on this season of Doctor Who. I clocked Pandora's box/skull and Ivy University (where Ray Palmer taught) in addition to Fate's helmet if we're counting DCU references. Two questions: 1. What's Liv's apartment hitting for? Because her and her friend's places looked sweet 2. If this fails what's the likelihood of the next adaptation actually being called Hellblazer?
September 23, 2014 3:39 pm Here's the thing: they're smart to not make this an investigation solely into the Wayne murders and instead shift this towards Gordon's war on corruption. But that actually causes a bigger problem: Just what the hell is Gordon going to be doing for the next 10 years while Bruce is becoming Batman? Either he's going to be a broken shell of a man who can't get the city clean or he'll have solved all of Gotham's problems and they'll be no reason for a Batman. I joked about hoping this world became the Adam West Batman verse but really it'd kinda be the logical conclusion if Gordon kills corruption in Gotham and the only thing Batman has to contend with are arch-criminals.
September 21, 2014 6:54 pm I think a major problem with DC is all the reticence and bad blood they kicked up at the very launch of their reboot sent people so far away that they screwed themselves out of positive press when they started doing really good things. All of that negativity drowned out the chance to find some real gems. Even now where's the talk about The Forever People or the upcoming Klarion series? The Batgirl announcement might tip things a bit but it might be too little too late for them.
