The Batgirl cover might not be cheesecake per se, but it does portray a physically idealized woman, without the top of her head (where the brain is), so it strikes me as a tad misogynist.

But was it good enough that I should break up with my LCS of 5 years for failing to pull one for or order ewnough to not sell out by 8pm on Wednesday? There's actually another LCS across the street that could handle my business.

i dunno, in canada we often get delayed comics because of us holidays.  i guess they get printed in quebec, shipped to diamoond then sent back to the great white north.

I think it was the "Blood" crossover books that did me in.  The Avengers/X-men one called Bloodties, and the Thor/Warlock&TIW one called Blood and Thunder.  All those crossovers just made me tired of comics and I dropped everything until I was just reading Guardians of the Galaxy, and then that ended. Also I'd like to say that I discovered girls, but it was really Magi...

Yes, but the exposition-fest was thematically reflected by Cylon re-birth and memory recovery.  I agree that Sam will likely download to Cavil's ship, since he wants to be able to lord it over the final 5 whenever they happen to die.  Woah, I'm sensing a metaphor... Cavil represents the futility of hoping for a better existance in the after-life.

I think Wall-E more deserved a nomination for BP than Button, or TDK for that matter, and probably over The Reader as well although I haven't seen it.  The Best Picture win should go to Slumdog anyway though.

Heh, cool an actor from The 4400 for a storyline lifted right out of The 4400.
