I very much agree. There was a lot of promise to this, and it was really good right up until the end. Everything just went back to the way it was in the two series. I would like to have seen Cable and Hope somehow go back the present day, but I guess with the Dark Reign stuff getting ready to hit the X-Universe, they wouldn't be ready to address that.

I read the first series and loved it. I'm waiting to get all three of these before I read it, but I can't wait. I also loved Samurai: Legend from the Soleil stuff. I really hope they do another series of that.

April 7, 2009 2:31 am @rwpos: Yes, it was sarcasm. Simply getting upset with the writer of a comic book for doing something unrealistic in their book is kind of absurd though. You put it so much better the second time around. I was just busting your balls a bit. I actually didn't much enjoy this book either. The start of it the story arc did setup a very nice story that seems to have gotten a little lost. Even the sections that focus on Tony don't seem to fit well with the original story. They seem more like events with the only purpose of stalling while waiting for some other event elsewhere in the Marvel universe.
