Name: Eric Burant

Bio: Part-time employee at Conspiracy Comics in Hamilton, Ontario. A huge fan of Marvel Comics but also extremely well-versed in most of the DC lore. I love comics in almost all their forms, and my favorites include All New Ultimate Spider-Man (with Miles Morales), Hellboy, Atomic Robo, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Mudman and especially Captain America. I'm just generally in love with the modern mythology of American Comic Books and i'm trying to expand into Manga because some of those stories are apparently life-changers. A proud Canadian, to boot!

July 9, 2013 4:43 pm This is the single most disappointing series I've picked up since I really got on the comic book train back in '05. I love Hitch, but... his delays are unacceptable and the series has had relatively sub-par.
July 9, 2013 4:40 pm I bought the series "The Last defenders" solely based on the fact that blazing skull was on the team. My favorite heroclix figure is that guy- he's nuts.
March 4, 2013 12:27 am I thought this was a surprisingly good episode, I had been expecting something more low-key, but it was really rewarding to see Michonne and Carl interact as well as the nerdy continuity chills I got from seeing Morgan again. Thank you, producers, for leaving a zombified Duane off the tv screen, though I expect that was as much due to the actor aging up as opposed to any squeamishness.
January 9, 2013 8:27 pm Why didn't you like Old Man Logan? Just curious.
January 9, 2013 8:23 pm You've got it right on.
December 17, 2012 3:37 pm This trailer got me pumped up in a way the Man of Steel failed to. It looks fantastic!
December 11, 2012 3:05 pm I also concur- maybe it's because I was spoiled by All-Star Superman, but I definitely enjoy exuberant, colorful adventures, and i'm not sure this looks very mirthful at all. But that's also the style of the Amazing Spider-Man, which I enjoyed. I'm on the fence.
October 30, 2012 5:06 pm This is such seismic news I can barely handle it. What will the seventh movie be based on!? I agree with the fellow above hoping for a far-flung prequel in the days of Exar Kun and all that jazz. Conversely, a Thrawn movie trilogy could also be amazing. But that would come with casting a new Luke Skywalker and HAN SOLO. This will occupy far more of my mind now than it ever should have.
October 24, 2012 9:50 pm I actually started really reading Captain America at the end of Civil War, and I was just blown away by everything about it. I went back and got the trades from the Brubaker/Epting run up until that point and had my mind further expanded. It was the best superhero comic I had read up until then and it still is right up near the top. I am going to miss this title in the form it had! Just the best!
