What’s working so well for this series, beyond just the gorgeous art and creative layouts, is the character work being…

March 16, 2012 12:05 pm I'm not entirely won over, especially with the distinct lack of Spidey rogues in the trailer. Don't know that it'll beat out Spectacular, but I'm willing to give it a few weeks to wow me.
March 7, 2012 12:41 pm As a moderately big fan of Star Wars comics, I can make one big suggestion on comics that are easy to pick up and enjoy with only movie knowledge. Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy may be an adaptation of a novel trilogy, but it flows wonderfully and tells a great story set right after the Battle of Endor. It's the first set of comics I ever read of Star Wars, and I still hold it as one of the best.
February 3, 2012 1:06 pm I stopped reading even in trade because they were always so small, but I've always wanted to go back to it. hopefully a nice series of hardcovers will come out now, and I can finish the series in style.
December 20, 2011 9:38 pm This is a great idea for a podcast, and one I'm glad to have as a resource. Glad to know I'm already doing the first step right!
November 2, 2011 3:40 pm This is one of the series that got me back into buying monthly big time when it started. Sad to see it coming to an end.
October 27, 2011 10:47 am The I, Vampire cover in particular reminded me of classic horror comics, and gave me another reason to love the title.
October 18, 2011 9:27 am From a design standpoint, the Red Skull cap is pretty cool, but the chances i would actually wear it are nil. The Hulk cologne reminds me of the Star Trek scents they had in bookstores a few years ago. Just, why?
October 13, 2011 8:25 am This is at least somewhat exciting news. I love the character, always have, but the first two issues haven't exactly been the most grabbing, especially up against a lot of the other new 52 books. Of course, if Bernardin can't bring some excitement to the character, I'll sadly be dropping.
September 29, 2011 9:12 am Ha. i just read this issue in the omnibus. On it's own, it does look rather suspect. Not a shy one, that Starfire.
June 23, 2011 2:52 pm @nastysnow I second that recommendation, especially since an omnibus collectng the first 35 issues of of that run is coming in September.

also, Big Time isn't a terrible place to start either, espeically if a reader wants to be caught up on current events.
