Some of War of Kings has gotten off track, but not this title. If the interaction between Groot and Max didn't make you laugh out loud, nothing will. I want Max's explanation of the tree guy's vocabulary to be TRUE.
February 12, 2009 6:55 am I read all my (non-comic) books on a device that can "show photographs, videos and, yes comic books", It's a Palm TX and I've been reading three to five books a week on it for three years.
October 8, 2008 7:17 am Combining the scientific accuracy of Armageddon with the originality of Police Academy IV, this sucks on so many levels, it hurts. Asteroids floating next door, cliched characters, and a guy falling from a cliff in near-zero-G (for God's sake, read your own title!). Even Inspector Gadget II was better than this.
Allred is a great artist, but not for Fables. The line are way too smooth. Fables is supposed to be grittier than this. A bit of let down, storywise, but that's to expected while Willingham sets up his next big story arc.
I'm with Conor. Of course, Krypto could kick Atlas' butt. Given that Superman and he are approx. the same power level, and the big S was just off his feed, Krypto would be able to put the hurt on Atlas just like a normal dog his size would to a normal guy. And notice that Krypto basically just put the normal doggie moves on him, just with uper strength.
September 25, 2008 7:50 pm Wow, I've rarely been in the minority so badly. While I've read all of the issues, it never seemd more than average at the beginning and, while I agree it's gotten better, there's no way tossing in Galactus at the last minute makes it the pick.
September 8, 2008 8:51 pm It's a good thing that I don't review for iFanboy, 'cause this wasn't even close to begin my POTW. I thought that the closing issue of Universal War One was better, as well as Noble Causes #36. But Fables #75 won out.
September 8, 2008 7:57 am mitchster, I agree with cromulent. I did go back and read the first three issues and I STILL don't know what's going on. Some very disjointed storytelling in this one.

A Krypto monthly, anyone? (Just kidding!)
