June 22, 2009 4:18 pm I think the fantastic four still has some relevance in the marvel universe. I remember reading Fantastic Four: The End by Alan Davis awhile back and really enjoying it. It would be interesting to see what Kevin Smith would do with them, i think it would be terrible, but at least it would be good for a laugh.

June 11, 2009 2:39 am @sircox I dont think shes a terrible actress, I just have my doubts that she'll be able to pull off the whole russian accent thing. Plus when i think of badass Russian spies (which black widow is supposed to be, no?) Scarlett doesnt immediately pop into mind.

I can accept Mickey Rouke pulling off a decent performance, no matter how stupid he looks on screen. But i heard Scarlett Johansson is going to be cast as the Black Widow. And im not sure how i feel about that.

June 3, 2009 5:56 am I'll be pickin up Batman and Robin for sure (here's hoping for no delays) and the fact that Greg Rucka will be on detective comics soon is awesome. But im feeling kind of indifferent to Red Robin, and the cover art for the first issue is really off-putting. But never judge a book right.....so maybe i should try it out then. decisions decisions.

Set phasers on stunning! This film was great. I had really low expectations going into it and i really dont know why. I was skeptical about J.J. Abrams ablity and the cast. But all of that has been put to rest.

The casting was superb. And I thought Karl Urban and Chris Pine, really stole the show. Here's hoping this re-energizes the series. But if not this movie pays great homage to some classic characters.
