August 27, 2012 6:42 pm I fairly enjoyed this issue of ASM #692, although I do agree with everyone here, Spiderman and Alpha do not seem like a good mix. With issue #700 drawing near though, I am wondering if Alpha is going to be mainly connected to the event that will take place in the comics milestone issue. Only time will tell, and as time goes on, I will continue to enjoy Dan Slotts run on The Amazing Spiderman.
May 2, 2012 8:46 pm This review has simply made me more anxious to see the midnight premier at my local theater. As the build up for this movie has been long and coming, now the dawn of the official premier is around the corner. I remember getting chills down my back when me and my friends saw the first Iron Man movie, at the exact moment when Nick Fury presented himself after the credits. All my friends had bombarded me with questions about who was that character that Samuel Jackson was playing, and what his appearance entailed. It's kind of hard to image that it was four years ago since then. The wait may have been long, but i'm sure it is gonna be well worth it.
May 1, 2012 1:44 am I only started collecting single issue comic books since the launch of the new 52. I dabbled here and there for titles to keep me committed to coming to my local comic book store in the past, but nothing would grasp my attention nor kindle my interest in collecting weekly issues. (also being intimidated by the numbering, i am not gonna lie) Animal Man and Swamp Thing were two of the many titles of the new 52 that got me going to my local comic book store and have gotten me excited for the weekly pulls. The story arc so far in Animal man as made me yearn for each coming issue, and this one is no exception.
March 12, 2012 1:25 am The past two issues of Action Comics (issues #5 & #6) sort of veered me off of this Grant Morrison story and drop the title, which is sad to say because it has only been this past year that i have been adamant on collecting single issue comics rather than trades based on highly acclaimed reviews. Alas this issue has rekindled the love that i found for this series and then some more. I've assured myself to stay on board and see what else Mr. Morrison has in store for this new comic book reader. If i haven't seen it, it's new to me.
November 16, 2011 2:43 pm Dear Josh I am truly sorry about the shotty review on the site, but I had made it as a rough draft. The intentions to fix it and make it eligible were there, although the lack of a edit button prevented me from doin so. No you are not hooked on phonics, you were just stuck on a shotty review reading. P.S I am definitely writing all my reviews on notepad and proofreading them before posting.
