August 12, 2008 11:33 am I got a little late to my stack but this was my pick of the week. This issue is the best of the series so far as it really destroyes the superhero genre which is what Ennis promised. The last couple of arks were so so, but this one is brillant.

I agree that comics are a niche and that’s the way it will be. It will continue to be be exploited by other mediums and see no returns of it’s own. I heard recently that as early as 1939 when Superman first came the about, audiences generated by the comic strip and radio program dwarfed the comic book sales.

I remember you guys talking about breaking slab at the party and whish I could have been there to see peoples reaction as you were jumping on the damn thing. Did you guys ever find out how much it was "worth"?

April 23, 2008 2:07 pm It is a great book but never a quick read. This issue was good but I'll have to read it again as it is a little confusing at times.

April 22, 2008 4:33 pm Was going to drop this after issue 1 as I was so angry at how retarded the book was. Somehow thought that Ed's great art was going to make issue more enjoyable but it wasn't the case. I'll be picking the rest of the series in the back issue bin at next years con.

Very slow week for me as I'm only looking to pickup Fables as I got Mice Templar at NYCC. Might take the opportunity to pick up Hellblazer and the Powers annual. 

Best moment of the week-end was attending both the Quesada and Morrison panels, getting a cool sketch from Risso (and Azz), and of course hanging out with everyone at the ifanboy party.
