October 17, 2017 11:30 am I can't speak for GI Joe but the Transformers comics from IDW have never rebooted, just relaunched. Its all been one long storyline like the marvel comics, but you don't have to read them all. If you did want to read from the very beginning they sale big books called 'Complete Collections.' If you want everything you can start at Phase 1 Volume 1. If you want to get to the more modern comics, which are better then IDW's earlier offerings, you could start with Phase 2 Volume 1. If you want a taste of what the comics are like right now, pick up Last Stand of the Wreckers, an excellent mini by the creative team on one of the ongoings now. I believe Comixology also has a sale on TF books at the moment so if you don't mind digital you could dive in cheaply. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
April 10, 2017 1:46 pm Well you probably won't have to worry about Syaf's art on X-Men for much longer. http://www.newsarama.com/33963-x-men-gold-artist-hides-political-religious-messages-in-art-marvel-responds.html
February 4, 2013 7:48 pm Was thinking the same thing! That was a fun book, never read the comic though.
April 17, 2012 8:00 pm Carnage appeared in the 90s Spider-man cartoon. They did make some pretty major changes to him though. He drained life energy from people instead of chopping them up, but he looked the same, it was still Kasady in the suit and he was pretty crazy. He could easily be worked into this show with similar changes.
December 15, 2011 3:22 pm I'd like to know where Norman got the cool Star Destroyer.
October 12, 2011 7:45 pm Wow, talk about false advertising. The issue didn't have anything to do with the Plutonian's origin as far as I can tell. Still a good issue though.
September 27, 2011 2:32 am Very excited for this one, probably my most highly anticipated of the new 52.
September 25, 2011 2:03 am Did you ever read the Last Stand of the Wreckers mini? By the same writer and is also extremely good.
September 6, 2011 11:27 pm Not getting a single DC book this week. The New 52 is off to a slow start with me.
June 8, 2011 11:26 am This batch of announcements really makes me worry about some books. What about some second tier books like Zatanna and Power Girl? What about the JSA? I know there are still a lot of books yet to be announced, but you have to figure the Super-books are going to be a good portion of them. When I see Hawk and Dove and TWO Legion books it definitely makes me worry for the second tier books I am really digging now.
