August 20, 2013 9:07 am I thought I was the only one who liked "The End is the Beginning is the End." Good to know I'm not alone. I believe it was actually nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award, which makes no sense. I believe it was "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" that was used in the Watchmen trailer. I think that's actually on the Batman and Robin soundtrack, too. Those two songs bookended it.
May 6, 2012 5:10 pm Not a huge fan of the show, but I still watch it every week. This was one of my favorite episodes; seems like it would make a good theme park simulation ride. Had a real Cloverfield vibe to it. Also, the absence of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Nova, and White Tiger made me realize that I really don't like any of them. I figured I didn't like the show because I wasn't part of the target demographic, but I think it's really because of those four.
May 5, 2012 5:00 pm This was a good episode, but I want to talk about the Animal Man short. Was that "Weird" Al Yankovic doing AM's voice?
April 22, 2012 9:21 am Pretty great episode. I love the stories where you think someone is the villain, but it turns out that your perspective (and that of the protagonists) is skewed. I also liked the sub-story of Razer's relationship with...the ship's computer/robot whose name I forget. I like how the Red Lantern oath is emotionally painful for Razer to say, but he doesn't have a choice. Star Sapphire in next week's show. The line they had her say makes me very interested.
April 22, 2012 9:16 am Well, that was effectively epic enough to make me forgive last week's episode. Great stuff. "Failsafe" and "Image" are probably still my two favorite episodes due to the tragic super powers aspect of both of their stories, but this was a top-notch season finale. The teaser for next week's show featured a few new faces that I'm excited to see.
April 16, 2012 4:56 pm I don't hate this show, but I recognize that it's not for me. It's comedy isn't for me, it's character designs aren't all for me, and the issues it deals with aren't for me. I'll probably keep watching it in case something that is for me comes into it, but it'll usually just be on in the background while I do other things. I do, however, greatly enjoy the Marvel Mashup shorts.
April 14, 2012 5:32 pm I was very disappointed in this episode as a whole. I don't like how they revealed everyone's secrets all at once. It was really cheesy and seemed like a rush job. I would've preferred each one to come out more gradually and not necessarily to every team member. Everyone knowing everything takes away a lot of my interest in upcoming episodes. Speaking of things that kill my interest, I can't stand Rocket's voice. It sounds like a man doing a girl's voice while playing a somewhat racist stereotype. I did like the reveal at the end, and it's probably the only thing that'll keep me watching next week.
November 22, 2011 9:27 pm I found it funny that this and Young Justice had the same episode title on the same weekend.
November 22, 2011 9:25 pm This episode was fine, but it felt like I should have seen it the week before Halloween. Also, it was kind of filler, with only one scene having much to do with the overarching story. But I do enjoy Captain Marvel. Also, I find Artemis annoyingly attractive. I feel bad about that.
