January 2, 2012 6:32 pm Fantastic Four #588 - Fantastic silent issue that perfectly captured the emotion of the sacrifice that Johnny made. When knew then he wasn't staying dead and know now we were right but none of that changes the emotional power this issue delivered. Hulk and Thor taking Thing to the middle of nowhere so he could lash out and finally release his emotions was a powerful moment. And if all that wasn't already enough the backup with Spider-Man and Franklin made me cry.
