November 19, 2012 12:44 pm I live over an hour away from a comic shop and have been forced to find alternative means to get my comic fix. I get my comics by subscriptions from Marvel and DC and the comics I read that are not offered thru them for subscription I get from Discount Comic Book Service. The downside to this is that I don’t get my comics the day they come out but the plus side is that I save hundreds of dollars a year shopping this way.
