November 3, 2012 2:13 am Personally, all the books that i dont read immediately once i buy them end up getting read when i go on mu lumch break at work. About two years ago one of my roommates had to suddenly move out die to a family emergency and me and remaining roommate had to a second job in order to pay the rent which left me little free time to read and only could on my lunch break. Worked so well i do it to this day even though i now have just one job again

October 11, 2012 8:54 pm Ok ok DC has just made me eat my words because yesterday i was absolutely comvinced that they must hate superman acter they announced the new creative team for action comics, but this may just redeem them. Hopefully this wont just be the creative team fo six months and then move though.

I was just about to post the same thing, these two both gave us some of the worst runs the characters have had in years and ow they are given the biggest hero of them all? Something is not adding up. Please DC, why do you hate Superman so much? He deserves better talent than what youre giving him. Also not into this dark suit, seems gimmicky

September 13, 2012 11:23 pm Man, Breyfogles entire run with Alan Grant was the most badass run ever. No one, not even Morrison came up with so many bizarre and twisted villains and od course no one draws Batman like Breyfogle. Wish DC would put him on a bigger book rather than just doing 10 pages of BatmanBeyond.

July 21, 2012 1:35 am Catwoman is my favorite character, and I've been thinking about what it is that bugged me about her in this movie. You know what, I think I just find Anne Hathaway really obnoxious. Seriously, I couldnt stand her in Rachel Getting Married, and even in interviews for this film I found myself wincing and just thinking "I just hope this isnt how your Selina really acts". Yep, I guess I sort of hate Hathaway maybe? Which is a shame because I thought the character was written ALMOST perfectly, but I also didn't really buy the fact that Bruce would be into her even though she stole his mothers pearls, woah woah woah you dont do that, and then leads him to getting the shit kicked out of him by Bane. And he still has a thing for her? I dont know, theres a big leap in logic there. Also, no whip? WHAT. THE. FUCK.

July 21, 2012 1:17 am @halik That also bugged the hell out of me but it's actually something that happened just as much in Dark Knight. Think of all the times that Joker killed someone, like when he slit Gambles mouth, or when he shot the cop with a shotgun, I know there are a few other moments too but I really feel like Nolans films are WAY too tame. I'm not asking for gore, but in PG13 film, he CAN show way more than he does, whats he afraid of?

July 20, 2012 7:15 am I'm not so sure John Blake was a new Robin, I think he's Jason Todd. Think back to him telling his origin, its almost exactly like Jasons, plus the fact that he was a hot head. Call me crazy but I'm thinking he was totally Jason. Anyway, I do have several gripes with the film, but overall it was a satisfying conclusion to a great trilogy. Tom Hardy was obviously the standout, he was just so badass as Bane. Just as I had always imagined the character. Unfortunately, while my favorite character Catwoman was definitely written well, I just didn't buy Anne Hathaway as her. She just doesn't have the presence of a survivor who grew up on the mean streets of Gotham. The costume took some getting used to, but I just don't feel she was as bad ass as how I see the character on the pages or in my head. Also, some of the supporting characters got shortend, Alfred leaves Wayne Manor and you dont see him for half the film, and then Gordon gets shot is reduced to being in bed for most of the film until the end. What a shame.

July 7, 2012 12:59 am I like that Superman ditched those stupid boots for converse sneakers, they just seem more 'Superman/Clark' to me. Also, ive got a pair too so thats awesome.

July 7, 2012 12:58 am I dont know about this, on the one hand I am so glad Winnick is leaving since I felt his characterization of my favorite character was so superficial and cheesecake and did not do the character justice, whereas Anna Nocenti is a female writer who just so happens to have written one of my favorite Daredevil runs ever. But... she is writing Green Arrow right now, and she has very little knowledge of Catwoman? This go could either way, it might be another train wreck or it could end up being a big surprise.
