I thought the cover for the newest issue of SCALPED was fantastic, myself. Is Scott Lobdell really writing GOTHAM CITY SIRENS? That's cool. I've missed his work, and glad he's back!

I'm fortunate enough that I can afford to buy both the single issues and collected versions of the same series. As stated above by others, the storage issue factors heavily into what I keep in collected form. I keep my single issues alphabetized, so if I want to go back and re-read some Ultimate Spider-Man, I have to move five or six boxes off the top of that one particular box...or I can walk...

As a fellow artist who also entered the contest, I just wanted to say that these entries were so wonderful that I want to rip of my drawing hand. I hate you all.  That said, terrifc job everyone, and I look forward to the next competition! (Speaking of which, how far off are we on the next one?)

I can draw if anyone needs an artist. I write a bit, too.

The 'Nightwing: Year One' trade has Dick meeting Deadman, and in fact shows that Nightwing's original super-sized collar was inspired by Deadman (within the story, that is). And I'm not really into either, but I would gladly throw money at whatever companies decided to publish a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover. That's just rad, dipped in awesome.

@Josh: Great article, man. I really enjoy these. I have a question, though: As a reviewer yourself, do you get nervous about showing your work to the other members of iFanboy? Are you worried about Ron or Conner ripping you a new one on your future comics work, or is that something you're not concerned with? Keep these articles a'comin'!

@ 23skidoo : The Hulk was originally intened to be gray. That's why he was originally...gray. And I heard the printer told Stan the gray wouldn't print consistantly, so Stan simply told him to change it to green (as there were not many popular green comic characters at the time). All this was on the "Mutants, Monsters, and Marvels" DVD, where he was interveiwed by Kevin Smith.
