June 11, 2012 7:13 pm Count me among those who've enjoyed the hell out of Red Hood. In my opinion, the best take on Jason Todd this side of Winick. Much better defined and consistent. Probably in the minority of having appreciated Lobdell's work on Teen Titans and Superboy as well, but I really think he's turned in solid work. And Rocafort's art is stellar. Hoping this move finally makes something out of Superman, which I have been trying desperately to like. Much as I've enjoyed Morrison's work on Action, it feels sometimes like he's sucked all of the air out of the room where Supes is concerned.

Thank you, Eadge, for that review.  It's like you reached into my skull, sifted through the debris and typed up what you found inside.

I also have to agree with your response to Flapjaxx: teach me, FJ.  Teach me how to read this story.  Tell me the secret, the cypher to breaking Morrison's code.  I WANT to enjoy this story.  I REALLY, REALLY do.  And I've held out hope.  I keep buying it thinking it's gonna change.  That it's gonna get better, that it'll finally all come together, make some sense.  But it never does.

So maybe I'M what needs to change.  The problem lies in me.  Teach me, man.  Lay it the fuck out and take me to the Promised Land, Brotha Flap, because I am obviously just do goddamn stupid to read this book.
