A pretty good issue using Joes that haven’t been seen in awhile. The art is acceptable but could user tighter…

July 20, 2014 11:29 pm I read Ms. Marvel based on based on your enthusiasm and hearing it was a good comic. It was fine. It read like an old school comic with the ridiculous Wolverine appearance. I wouldn't say it was great. I'm not sure who the character appeals to. I would say if the underlying tone was the rule and not the exception the world would be a better place.
April 13, 2014 9:47 pm Pertaining to Flash Gordon, I guess no one read "Kings Watch" which had the back story and leads directly to Flash Gordon #1. Kings Watch was sort of a Defenders of the Earth reboot as it had the Phantom and Mandrake. It was a 5 issue series that finished this week as well. Great art. Usually I think of Dynamite books as licensed characters with ehhh to okay art but this was really good.
March 9, 2014 7:25 pm As a dog lover, Afterlife with Archie was a very powerful issue. I have never been upset reading a comic book in the 30+ of reading comics as I was reading this. Rarely do comics evoke emotion. I never read Archie comics and I'm really surprised they would make a series like this. 5 stars.
October 2, 2013 12:30 am The Wake "Spoiler" This was one of my favorite books until the end of this issue. It had a good set up with some nice mystery, good characters and great art. Then story in a nutshell is some humans find mermen and then are attacked by them. At the end of this issue a giant Godzilla sized merman appears and attacks the underwater station. It's just so stupid I don't even want to read anymore of this series. The series led up with a lot of science and it was a realistic take if there were mermen in the real world. All that went out the window with the giant merman. It's just a dum premise. My only hope is the merman have a hallucinating power and so maybe it isn't real.
August 15, 2013 2:20 pm I never found him funny as a correspondent but as a host he has been hilarious. He has a lot of energy and even though he's a lefty it's not as over the top. I'm going to miss him but the way Comedy Central hands out shows I wouldn't be surprised to see him do something.
August 2, 2013 1:25 am This new story arc is interesting. The Green lantern books have been mostly forgettable lately but this one has some possibilities. This is one of the few somewhat original ideas to come out of the 52 with Earth 2 being the best.
August 2, 2013 1:22 am The dialogue and art are fantastic in this book. I really like Iron Man in space. It seems like it has more weight in this book since he's been there awhile. The banter with Rocket Racoon is great. My only complaint is the last page. Unless I missed something Thanos is not a giant. He is drawn to look here like Starlord only comes up to his knee and Thanos should only be maybe a head taller than Thor.
June 30, 2013 2:27 am Really great fun series. I like Iron Man in outer space. It's an interesting twist. Hope he stays there for awhile. He's there but doesn't overshadow the book. RR is really well written.
June 20, 2013 7:51 pm After all the hype this was the biggest who cares ending I can remember. The first few issues were awesome with great art by Hitch and the story really seemed to matter. Then the art turned terrible and so did the story. Does anybody really care about Angela? If the story didn't leak I don't think most people would have even known who she was. I don't even get what the big fight about her character was. I mean would her license garner any money? I guess since she's here Gaiman got something unless Marvel used her so he would do other work.
June 14, 2013 7:09 pm Agree. The first three issues were very good. The rest have been snoozefests. Not a fan of the covers either.
