February 9, 2012 10:12 pm As a long time Punisher fan this was a really epic last issue. Compared to the other meaningless Punisher deaths this one was compelling. Steve Dillon's Nick Fury was great. My only complaint was the terrible Photoshopped lettering on the tombstone on the last page. That was truly awful. I wonder if something else was there originally.

June 13, 2011 12:48 am This series is definitely getting better. If you are an old school Joe fan you will love it. My only complaint on this issue is it was an Artic issue and no Snow Job. This is the classic series and you don't have the original Artic Joe?????

October 15, 2010 10:53 pm This comic is awful and unreadable. The writing is just terrible. It feels nothing like a Batman book and feels like a kids comic.

September 19, 2010 12:20 am This series is just awful. It just doesn't seem like Batman at all. The art is good but it's like they took the dialogue from a different comic. The "voice" isn't right at all. It's like a serious art style with goofy (and long) dialogue. The part with Batman calling Alfred names and Talia acting like a mother hen... dreadful. Adams hasn't done anything great since the 70's. When you take 30 years off you are bound to be rusty. But I've read his ego matches Mcfarlane.

March 11, 2010 1:02 am I would say a great inker example would be John Buscema and Ernie Chan on Marvels Conan books. If you look at some of Buscema's pencils they were barely sketches. On the other hand Ernie Chan used some much ink he overshadowed whoever he pencilled. One of my favorite artists is Gary Kwapsis on 80's Savage Sword of Conan. If you look when he inks his own work it's awesome. When Chan inked Kwapsis the detail was drowned out in a sea of black ink.

April 19, 2009 10:02 pm I have to totally disagree with this. I have read the Punisher since the 80's and find this series to be the best one that deals with the Marvel Universe. Punisher War Journal is awful. The Punisher crackered some one liners but other than that this issue was not campy or comical. I don't know how you compare this to Adam West Batman, Castle was killing people with a knife... The twist where microchip was helping the hood was interesting. Although I thought micro died at some point in a earlier series. The fact that the punsiher has a real adversary in Norman Osborn really makes this series interesting. Jigsaw should just be killed. He's just not a top notch villain. The dumbest thing the Punisher did recently was kill stiltman, an f list villain who was basically a thief. This series has plenty of action, the art is great and there is an actual interesting story instead of the usual Punisher kills criminals.
