January 30, 2013 8:46 pm Not a commercial name? Wow. I guess you haven't read many comics over the last 15 years. Detective, Batman, Batwoman, Wolverine and one of the four star writers of 52. Among a ton of other material. Ignorance is no defense of the law my friend. Get back to the comic shop and catch up on stuff.
January 18, 2013 3:02 pm Thanks for all the Fish!
October 18, 2012 11:51 am IT WAS FINE! :) But seriously, go back and read the scene where Batman screams "THESE MEN ARE MINE!" and then watch the same scene in the movie. Not Good.

October 8, 2012 11:37 pm It was awesome.
October 2, 2012 4:45 pm I know what you're trying to say... BUT. The reason they made this film is because of the source material. Same with Watchmen, Sin City etc. If you don't want something to be judged against the source material it comes from, then you should do something original. If this was like BTAS which was all original and made for the small screen, you can do that. Not with DKR. Because this movie was based (and followed very closely) one of my favorite works of all-time, it would be impossible for me to review it on it's own merits. I also think they dropped the ball terribly on some direction decisions and Weller's voice acting was beyond bad. But it was fine.
August 6, 2012 11:07 am As a fellow podcaster, if I had a dollar for every dumb or unfortunate thing I've said on a podcast I would be swimming in rooms of gold like Scrooge McDuck. It happens, and that's all there is to it. I consider both of these guys friends and darn good people. Like Pat said, let's move on. Chris
June 25, 2012 5:25 pm When you print in the volume and at the crap quality that Marvel does, I'm sure the unit cost is pretty low. If you print in a small qty and with a paper & print quality that doesn't make you want to barf, printing costs can be very expensive. I've called plenty of printers in my almost 20 years as a designer and Art Director. CB's response was snarky, uninformed and lazy.

April 30, 2012 3:21 pm Yup. It's a good run. Red Zone is far and away my favorite of the time. Insert "last time the Avengers were good" joke here.
