June 5, 2010 4:41 pm ARG! Damn you Kirkman!  I've forced myself to only read The Walking Dead in 5 issue chunks because they feel so short and always end in cliffhangers.  Now it seems that I have to do the same with Invincible.  I miss the days of old where it seemed like you read an entire days worth of events in an issue (ex. any dark phoenix issue of x-men.)

June 3, 2010 9:24 pm Uuugghh the art is horrible.  Story 6/5 art 0/5.  For some reason Thanos is 20ft tall in the first couple pages.  He also murdered my Groot!  Groot is like 5ft tall now wtf!  Has this guy even seen an issue of GotG?

May 17, 2010 10:19 pm I don't like the photo-realistic art style that some people do these days.  I can't get enough of the pure style that JRJR does.  It takes a good inker and colorist to make the style work.  The JRJR V2 Thor stuf looked pretty good, but the flat and drab color just killed the art.  WWH was another victim of bad ink and color and it looked like i was reading in the dark.  I have to admit that JRJR sometimes looses all perspective in his drawing.  I remember a pannel in Kick-Ass where Kick-Ass' head is about 3x its normal size for some reason, and I LOLd. 

May 10, 2010 9:39 pm I don't get why people hate the avengers.  I've enjoyed most of the last year.  I don't know why this book is mislabeled as "Finale".  It clearly is just a transitional one-shot.  The Dark Reign has been pretty fun for an event cycle.

May 3, 2010 4:48 pm Wow, Invincible Iron Man 25 got snubbed.  It was a 26% pic of the week.  With the exception of a few borring issues, this has been fantastic Iron Man.  After Secret Invasion it seemed like Bendis killed anything exciting that Iron Man had done in the last 5 years with the "Virus".  It was great to see some conclusions.  Am I crazy for thinking that this would be one of the main titles to discuss this week? 

December 7, 2009 8:19 pm The 5 issue clone saga crap made me hate the series.  I do yearly subscriptions, and I could barely force myself into reading that crap.  This arc is badass though, can't wait for the rest.

September 29, 2009 9:52 pm I'm still loving this book.  In a world where I have about 12 X-Men books a month, this one is simple and scaled back.  I started reading comic books a year ago, and I can't really get into any X book because all the characters I loved as a kid are split-up into various books.

June 28, 2009 1:19 pm "She sure did get 8 months pregnant in a hurry."  It has actually been about 8 months in ASM time.  The fantastic four and spidey were in the macroverse for about 4 months in those 2 issues.
