September 30, 2011 2:31 pm Okay... I can't resist... I don't think it an accurate analysis to look at just one issue of a comic unless there is some eye-popping problem.... like really off the wall art, cliche dialogue, disjointed storytelling, and the like... So much of our discussion is on the value of a single issue instead of looking at a story arc... It's like those commentators reviewing presidential debates a year before the run-off... though it may be interesting in a fun sense, it isn't very informative. That being said, I do enjoy the discussions to an extent as I have to decide what to buy next. WW looks like a promising book as it has a great deal to reveal... But, I may have to buy it with some shame... Like I need to tell the dude at the counter "I know I know, it's Wonder Woman",,,, why didn't they just name the book "God of the Amazon" or something?
September 15, 2011 2:56 pm The art was engaging and the story did more for me than... oh say "Yell and Sneer" (i.e., Hawk and Dove... sorry)... but I find the girlfriend aspect a little on the "hot straight chicks who might kiss" kind of thing... I mean, I don't find tunes to be sexy and I feel it rather insults my intelligence as an committed sci-fi reader... Im looking for content and mind bending stories... Still, I dig the red costume...
September 1, 2011 11:49 am I would go digital and buy a payload worth of comics if they were .99 cents. I think I would spend more than I do now for the books in total... Oh, did I mention Im a hospital based physician/grown up? Why should I care about cost? Well... comics are most fun when you get a bunch and follow multiple stories at one time... I can usually follow a couple dozen at once... but the 3.99 makes you wonder if this isn't getting out of hand... It's not about cost, it's about value. Read on comic fans.

Collecting comics has no value anymore... we're all readers.... why not make a digital offering of the whole 52 at .99 per issue... I could wait for that to be released later on... I mean, a grown man like me has no business with a $150 comic book... I dont care how many pages it has!!
