May 16, 2012 3:19 pm I do not think that fits here. This is not pleasure from a slave being eaten by a lion or a homeless man unable to find food or even an innocent jogger tripping on the sidewalk. I take pleasure from this because I find Moore's constant whining, pity parties, and blatant hypocrisy annoying. It's closer to the pleasure someone feels when a congressman that relentlessly bashes gay's and talks about the sanctity of marriage get's caught soliciting gay sex in a mens restroom.
May 16, 2012 12:14 pm This watchmen toaster filled my heart with warmth. After all the overblown holier than thou outrage over before watchmen I now enjoy watching this be done to Moore. I just picturing him sitting there on a couch, his laptop open. He see's the toaster and suddenly his eyes snap in opposite directions, his head splits open and light pours out of it.
May 10, 2012 3:10 pm Perhaps, but to me it read more like confidence/over confidence on the part of the Talon's.
May 10, 2012 3:04 pm I'm enjoying it completely, but I agree with the poster way above that I hope this comes to an end sooner rather than later. I want those damn guardians dead! Dead I say!
May 9, 2012 6:07 pm I choose to believe this is true, regardless of the truth. Would have made a much better credits reveal than thanos. Would also work in Thor 2, except there is no way Loki will be the villain in that.
May 9, 2012 6:06 pm This is my new favorite post of all time. However, while I agree with Iron Man's placement (and the reason for it), I think you are being unfair to Black Widow who is my favorite.
May 7, 2012 11:43 am Wait... so you want to subject people to a movie with Owen Wilson AND Queen Latifah in it. When did you turn against the human race?
May 1, 2012 4:38 pm I get what you are saying, and agree, but what I am saying is that this article is different than someone posting week after week in a specific comics comments about how bad it sucks as they continue to buy it week after week. I think this article is different because it is an article and only deals with AvX up to issue 2, which is not an unreasonable number of issues to buy of an event before you come to a decision. It's possible your comment was directed at "the comics community" as a whole and not at the article, which would explain the confusion.
May 1, 2012 2:58 pm That is 3 cents worth of opinion, a great bargain! It's a good point. Kind of like two of my many favorite movies are Die Hard 4 and Social Network obviously for two very very very separate reasons!
May 1, 2012 2:56 pm Hmm, the article is called "A Tale of Two Events: Avengers vs. X-Men & Night of the Owls" so how exactly do you write this article without mentioning AvX? It does address your point, it's just that you like AvX and are therefore taking the criticisms personally when this is an opinion piece to spur dialogue. How else do you point out good versus bad without referencing the bad? I hate Transformers 2 with every fiber of my being, I love Fast and Furious 5 with every fiber of my being. It's purely my opinion, but if I were to try and explain why I liked Fast 5 and hated Transformers 2 I would discuss both, and yes people that like Transformers 2 always get upset and tell me if I hate it so much I shouldn't have watched it.
