January 19, 2011 12:50 pm I am mostly happy with this and most likely everyone's big "Huh?" moment is the inclusion of Bane, but I suspect that Nolan will put his unique stamp on it. It would have been nice to have Hugo Strange in the mix as a character in the film. Unless there's some additional casting that hasn't been announced?
January 4, 2011 1:50 pm The comic shop that Mike Allred draws in iZombie is my own local comic shop - ask Mike or anyone who goes there, it's the BEST comic shop in Oregon and any city scenes are genuine Eugene, Oregon locations. ;)

    I, Zombie/iFanboy shirts would rock!
October 18, 2010 1:58 pm I suspect that when we see it in the movie itself that the battery will have its own CGI assists like the costume will and there will be animated green energy moving around in the translucent bits. I, like most of us, am cautiously optimistic about this.
May 13, 2010 11:54 am Nice article, I made a post on Mike's message board to make sure everyone sees it!
January 9, 2010 2:02 pm @TeleCarlos - now I recognize her! I remember her from that clip they played on The Soup with Lively talking about Gossip Girl while America Ferrera from Ugly Betty is rolling her eyes at the camera.

As a lifelong GL fan, I'm probably feeling the same nervousness that Iron Man fans felt when that movie started production ("Please don't suck! Please don't suck!"). Blond Carol or no, I'll be there opening day - hell, first in line no matter what. It's GL. Support your local Green Lantern...

Looks like I'd better hustle to finish up my GL collection in the meantime. Only 14 more issues to go!

It's kinda weird. The new cover for Preludes and Nocturnes looks kinda like a sad, very abstract Iron Man.

I may have just incurred the wrath of several Sandman fans...

October 28, 2009 11:08 am One more quick addendum to the article - It looks like the Action #1 was only contracted to be there for the first month of the show and was removed from display on Monday morning. However, the Superman #1 and for the serious comics historian, Famous Funnies #1 will remain through the rest of the exhibit.
October 27, 2009 5:14 pm Hi guys, glad you like the article. The show was a blast to go to and I went again this past weekend witha friend and it's just as good the second time around to visit. This time I was able to check out a HUGE Hal Foster Prince Valiant page and some other very nice pieces like and page of Rorschach's interrogation of Moloch and the page with Nite Owl and Silk Spectre's rescue of the people in the burning building from Watchmen. One minor correction, it's actually down in Eugene, Oregon - a couple hours south of Portland - but worth the drive.
