A suprisingly heavy week, but nothing great is coming out, other then Action Comics, glad to see Frank back on art.

I'm not seeing enough love for Locke & Key, its a great comic, and a good horror comic to boot. So people gotta check that out, or maybe when it comes out in trade.

I'm giving Titans the three treatment, the characters don't feel right, Winick is making everyone too cooky and funny. So if it feels any weirder this time around, I might drop it, but part of me is intrigued by the story, and Starfire's hottness.

BQ:When I moved from Florida to Oregon, we stopped by a Sonic in the middle of Texas. I can't remember specifically how hot it was, but I know for sure that if I went into the kiddie play place, I would've died!

First off. I was really disapointed with the Iron Man score, cuz it didn't really exist and it stood out for me for some reason, and it was the only thing that bugged me. It was the kind of score where there was just drums and a rock'n guitar in the background, but nothing that gave me shivers.

Second, Michael Giacchino NEEDS to do a superhero score. Even though he's done such great ones as Incredibles, Speed Racer, and Lost, I'm pretty sure he'll also be doing Star Trek as well. But I'd love to hear a super hero score from him. The man is a god. Just listen to the Cloverfield overture called "ROAR!". Its fucking genius.

I'm so with Jimski here. All of the bad superhero movies were bad because bad people were making them. Although I'm still not sure what happened with Spider-Man 3, seriously, that came out of left field.

I can't help but always be excited for comic book movies, and I too think Ant-Man could be great, as long as its done right.

And really, the guy even says he dosn't read comics very much, but then he feels he has to the right to make fun of superheroes just because he knows their powers and abilities, yet he knows nothing of their personality or story.

I really can't wait to see a Captian America movie set in World War II, cuz that would rock.

Buffy has been way too consistently good. I'm scared that its never gonna have a so-so issue.

I can't wait for the Fray crossover.

And I'm glad Jo Chen is back on covers for the next arc. The Jon Foster stuff just doesn't cut it, but Jeanty's covers are always nice.

We'll see how the hand off goes with Terry Moore on Runaways. I'm very curious to see that. And it'll be nice to see the book back on a monthly schedule.

It'll be really nice.

June 2, 2008 9:27 pm It feels impossible for this book to be bad. I might do something rash if there was a bad issue.

Most looking forward to: Secret Invasion, Buffy, Criminal, and Kick-Ass.

On the edge with The Boys, and glad the Abe Sapien solo story is coming to an end.

BQ: I don't know, I'm not even sure what I'M eating for dinner.
