If you read Maty’s review, he’s right. This is some of the best art I have seen on a Buffy…

October 7, 2011 3:01 pm I aslo bought a copy of it from Amazon well over a month ago. It was terrific, as all of Venditti's stuff is. And the art was gorgeous.
October 4, 2011 3:24 pm Thanks for everything Paul. The written reviews and the podcasts (thanks to Dave, Jack and guests also) were terrific. You and iFanboy helped turn this into an even bigger event by providing so much coverage. I ended up reading 51 of the relaunch issues (and the first 10 pages of Supes #1 which just became unreadable at that point). The most fascinating aspect was seeing how so many people responded differently to the issues. There were some I liked that you did not, there was one I hated that has a average iFanboy rating of 3.1, which baffles me beyond belief. But fascinating none the less. Great stuff, and now that it's over I hope you'll be back with The Deceptionists soon.
October 4, 2011 12:16 pm Great review. Nothing more needs to be said... Truly the worst comic in the relaunch. And when you consider how unreadable the LoSH was, that's really saying something.
October 4, 2011 12:12 pm I just loaned out my copy of #1 to a friend who read it last night and showed him the above picture this morning and he's claiming "bullshit". His reasoning is that anyone who draws (he himself is an artist) does not ride a bike. Nate, as long as you give us a beautiful hardcover for the first 4 issues, take as long as you want.
October 3, 2011 8:15 pm Awesome news. Looking forward to reading future issues of Near Death, Severed and Morning Glories on Graphicly. Thanks Ron!
September 29, 2011 12:04 pm Thanks for doing this Paul. I look forward to the Week 4 podcast. I'm also enjoying the 2+ hour length of them as I live in LA and it makes the commute seem shorter (or less frustrating).
September 28, 2011 1:53 pm Thanks Chad. Great review. I'm excited to read this later today as I am also a big Tim Drake fan.
September 26, 2011 3:22 pm JIm, one of the best points you raised was the 3 month pre-order that we as comic readers are required to do if we want the guarantee of getting what we want when it comes out, and that this is a crazy system, but to fight against it would put your LCS out of business. I'd like to point out that the system is flawed due to Diamond's monopoly and stranglehold they over the distribution. I'd like to see this all change somehow for the better, but as a former (very small) comics retailer I don't know what the solution is, other than another distributor coming into the market and shaking things up.
September 23, 2011 3:25 pm Jason, I like you're thinking. Those were all great ideas for bringing in more of the Wildstorm characters in the new DCU. Please go to all of the conventions you can and hound the DC editors to make it all happen. I'll help set up some fundraisers so that you can afford it. Good job, great thoughts.
