May 6, 2012 3:35 am After last weeks near perfect Luke Cage and Iron Fist, I can't wait to see what they do with Star Lord and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
March 29, 2012 7:01 pm I am not a fan of CGI on TV at all, but I need to know how they're going to pull Professor Pyg off on Saturday Mornings.
March 20, 2012 10:33 pm There is nothing about this book I do not like.
February 6, 2012 5:53 pm I thought one of them looked a bit like the frost giants from Thor.
November 11, 2011 3:46 pm I'm really excited for this turn. My favorite part of the Marvel universe, the part that seems the most unique when you compare it to DC, is their use of secret organizations and evil scientists. Yes DC has those, but Hydra and AIM strike my imagination in a way that Cadmus and the new one in Superboy and Teen Titans, N.O.W.H.E.R.E., just do not. So I'm all for the Avengers vs HAMMER, cause without shield it kinda feels like the Avengers are out matched. One question though, the Hydra character who has the squid on her head, who is that? I feel like I should know who that is but I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to track her down.
November 9, 2011 4:41 pm My LCS had it for $2.99, and at that price it's a great deal. And really out of the six stories 4 of them were pretty good. And really only the Ultron one at the end felt like they just took a few pages out of that story and threw them in this. Over all I feel like even if I had payed full price I got my money's worth out of it.
November 7, 2011 5:30 pm If each one is more like Ultimate Fallout, where they set up plot points or gave a taste of what the new story will be like, but it's not necessary to enjoy the first issue, I'm all in. But if they're just taking excerpts from the future tiles, count me out.
October 26, 2011 5:55 pm I can't say I understand why people have thought she was a device that could bring back the previous DCU. They've gone head first in to the New 52, there's no going back. And even if they did what would that mean? No classic Vertigo Characters, no Wildstorm and the classic costumes? I just don't see why you need a device to do that. You just stop using the characters and you draw the classic costumes. Cause honestly, on a fundamental level, it still feels like DC. It's not like they changed the universe very dramatically. She always seemed to me to be the Anti-Moniter turning into the Black Lantern at the end of the Sinestro Corps War, just a link from one event to the next.
October 6, 2011 7:47 pm I'm not quite sure I understand where you're coming from with when you say that fans of the previous characterizations won't like these. Tim is very much the same one we left in Red Robin, and Bart is a bit more back to basics with his characterization. And I mean all the way back to Impulse. Cassie I will admit is different, the old one would probably not steal a car, but we also haven't seen enough to think that she is completely different.
