November 22, 2011 12:04 am Thats awesome, this is next on my list of books to read!
November 9, 2011 2:04 pm Its interesting to see Avengers out of the top 25. I thought it was just me that wasn't enjoying it, I dropped it from my pull list 2 months ago and its the only Avengers title that I don't currently read. I just for some reason could no longer get into it. I'm curious to see if Marvel will make any changes creatively on that book.
September 12, 2011 4:28 pm I'm really excited for this too. Geez I hope its good. The premise is interesting, hopefully it works. I was also excited for Batwing and I didn't end up enjoying that one very much. So hopefully this one will be entertaining.
September 12, 2011 4:23 pm I'm really interested in the numbers in 6 months and 1 year from now. I'm curious if DC can sustain decent numbers. I plan on reading about 20 of the first 52. But realistically I will probably continue reading maybe 3 of them. Out of the ones that I've read so far, Batgirl is the only one I've added to my pulllist. The one I'm anticipating the most is Mr. Terrific.
September 12, 2011 12:12 am This was a great article, but I'm kind of suprised by all the negative stories. Thats such a bummer. I go to Planet Comics in Anderson, SC. Its a great shop, almost everyone that works there is very pleasant and really helpful. In fact I have expand my reading over the last couple years just on their recommendations. Its also just a great place to hang out and chat. We talk about everything from comics to football. The only other shops I have really spent any time in are Heroes Aren't Hard to Find in Charlotte, NC and that is a great shop. Staff is really nice and they stock tons of comics even the indies. They also run the best convention you'll ever go to. The other is a shop I go to when I visit my family in Florida. I can't remember the name but its a nice little shop in Brandon, FL. I really can't say I've ever had a bad experience in any of the stores. I think the worse thing is sometimes when a book on my pull list isn't pulled and sells out, but its rare and they always order copy for me.
August 15, 2011 8:34 pm This is a really great review. I enjoyed this issue as well and you put it words perfectly. Thanks for a well written review. I actually tweet shared it and credited you.

@madmartigan I thought it was a really great idea. There are other black and latino comic book characters but how many from multiracial backgrounds. With public figures like President Obama and Tiger Woods having parents of different races, I think its true diversity to have that reflected in comics.

August 4, 2011 1:17 pm @BCI I have said that for so long. New Frontier is my favorite DC story(I don't read much DC) and since reading that I have wanted Darwynn Cooke to take that style to the Avengers.
