September 18, 2012 9:53 am It wasn't until I went back and re-read #1 after I'd read this book that I realised the vagabond code that Clint explains in this issue appears there, too. For us it was just some graffiti on the garage as he walks past, like you'd see in any similar urban environment. In this issue, we learn that it has meaning, and just what it means! I really liked that. Great stuff.
September 18, 2012 3:53 am I'm sufficiently curious to read on when Humphries takes over. The team sounds really interesting, what with the character development Psylocke's going through in the current run, and Ororo's nature. I look forward to seeing where this goes.
September 13, 2012 12:15 pm Great show, guys. (I loved the Allred cover showing up too. That was great.) Excellent reviews and great choices for the books. One thing I was surprised not to hear mentioned was that Howard Chaykin had a letter published in Hawkeye #2's letters column praising the first issue! I thought given how much Chaykin and Hawkeye have both been celebrated recently, that letter would definitely get a mention. Not so! Thanks for a quality show and I look forward to the next edition.
September 10, 2012 7:10 pm Damn. I was afraid of this. Uncanny X-Force has been consistently amazing, I'm very sad to see it end. Thankyou, Rick Remender, for your stellar work on this title.
September 2, 2012 9:40 pm Adrian Z asked about Australian superheroes - Can I mention Darren Close's Killeroo? Sure,it's a bikie gang leader kangaroo, but I freakin' love that crazy roo.
August 28, 2012 9:43 am I don't want to come off a complete nutter, so I'd better explain a bit! It's important to me that I support the shop, it's the only one in my town and is a great labour of love. I also absolutely love having and collecting the physical issues of books. I do. That said, I'm delving into digital, getting a couple Marvel titles digitally with the app. The free digital copies sold me on it, frankly.
August 28, 2012 9:22 am Oh, much. With the exchange rate, I can get books digitally for less than the US cover price. I'm stubborn about getting the books I really want from my LCS, though.
