March 22, 2012 8:28 pm I loved the art and colors but the writing left me empty. I thought Humphries had no grip on the characterization of Carter. Its like every second thing he said was some sort of quip. Which having read the books just doesn't strike true to me. Anyways, to each their own. Humphries other stuff still rules.

O boy, the fact that scott snyder is writing a great bat book wasn't confirmed for the 100 millionth time. Guess what guys? This means there is ANOTHER great comic out there for you to check out. If anything, we should all be happy that another great title is out there, for you to read along with Batman . For Your Health.

January 10, 2012 1:01 pm I want to go back and read all three of the issues, and this new one , of the SHADE series. I've only read the first starman omnibus though. Can I read this series without finishing STARMAN first, or will it just totally spoil it.?

September 6, 2011 12:15 am So In the begging of the review you state that your not buying what fraction and company are selling in terms of this series. Great. It's not for everybody. I just don't understand the choice of having someone who self admittedly doesn't "Subscribe to the Fraction Cable Package" as you put it , review this book. This is a book that the creators put a lot of work into , and this review just doesn't even bother to give it a shot. Your introduction reeks of self righteous pretension , and It almost seems like you went into this not wanting to even give the book a chance. Look I don't know you as an individual, and I'm sure your a great dude, and I respect the fuck out of your right to an opinion but this review seems more about YOU and not at all about the comic.
