March 14, 2013 9:45 am Check out The Spider. He was a vigilante created in 1933 as competition to Shadow. He is way more like Batman than the Shadow, though. Or Batman is like him, seeing as the Spider came first. I just read a couple of Spider stories a few weeks back. They're pretty good.
