March 5, 2012 3:02 pm Look, DC, Jay Garrick's costume is simple. REALLY simple. He wears a red shirt with a lightning bolt on it and blue pants. Besides the lightning bolt, the most complex thing about it is the helmet. Even then, it's just one of those Mercury helmets. It's not complicated. So, what possessed you to take one of the simplest costumes in DC history and make it one of the most complex and insane? Mostly it's the helmet that gets me. The rest is pretty good, and harks back to his old costume. The lightning bolt is a little much, but the rest isn't too bad, and I see that they're trying to make it a full body suit and more like the other Flashes. So... I'll let that pass, and that part may grow on me. But the helmet. I don't understand it. Please take that off. It's atrocious.

February 7, 2012 10:49 am Yeah, I could easily think of more (Grant Morrison, anybody?), but this is a good top 5. I don't have much more to add except on Rob Liefeld. His art isn't extremely bad, it's just that he doesn't seem to understand proportions. If he was ever able to figure that out, I think he'd be great.

I guess writing some of the best damned comics ever earns you that right though." No, it doesn't. It obviously didn't earn Frank Miller the right. I think it's just that he says things comic fans (or a large number of comic fans) agree with and is mean to the right people.

November 18, 2011 3:24 pm On some websites, even mentioning Identity Crisis is bound to get you tarred and feathered. I'm grateful that iFanboy sees the awesomeness of it, though. It was one of my first introductions to the JLA, and to this day it's one of my favorites.
