August 18, 2010 5:13 pm I feel like everyone that you've sort of heard of is in this movie, but you know what? that was true for the first x-men movie to..
July 29, 2010 11:09 pm Ya see? There was a time when the ol'hornhead wasn't all crippling catholic guilt and horrible decisions, there was a time when he was all about jail bait and ass slaps...
July 7, 2010 10:48 pm John, I don't know if I have ever said this to you (I've been listening to wordballoon for so long..) but I love your interviews. They sound so casual, but I think that's a tribute to how much your prepare and the kind of forum you provide for the creators to not only inform, but to be themselves. Great work. You are loved.
I think War Machine is what others who don't have the technical finesse of Tony Stark would consider a 'better' version of Iron Man, but in reality the only one can build a better Iron Man (in these movies, anyway) is Iron Man. But you know, the wave of the future isn't making things bigger, it's making them smaller.
Yeah, I can see Stark as Iron Man swooping in at the eleventh hour to help save the day in the Avengers movie and then that setting the character up for whatever big bad they have coming at Stark in Iron Man 3.
To me nitpicks, need to be picked when things are glaringly wrong, but more on a technical end (like boom mikes dropping into frame) The things happen in the story are the story and they exist within that logic. I always cringe at stuff like Flakbait mentions, when a character gets hit by a car multiple times and still have the strength to go toe to toe with a dude in a robot suit, but I have to remind myself that if I'm willing to believe in stuff like guys in robot suits exist in this story, then I'm going to have to suspend my belief a little further to the fantasy realm of dudes getting hit by a cars and walking away, because that's the way things go down in Iron Man 2 world.
The official music of the Marvel Universe: Nu-Metal.
