February 20, 2013 1:40 pm I think you're right, Mike, that at some point SDCC will break into smaller parts like SxSW. I'm totally fine with that because I am done standing in line for 6+ hours and then not getting into panels. I really loved MorrisonCon because the overall cost was much lower than I usually spend at SDCC and you actually got to do things. I had whole conversations with creators, got in to every panel, got stuff signed, and most importantly, it was all super relaxing and fun. One of the last strongholds of San Diego is that there's so many people it really does have that all encompassing sense of community. The iFanboy party is always great and SDCC is still that place where you see friends you haven't seen in a year.
February 20, 2013 1:24 pm Why are people mad? There are great books to read and iFanboy haikus! Also, Prof. Ryan I'm using these in my class because they're awesome.
December 6, 2012 11:28 pm Agreed; I already purchased it for my mom!
October 25, 2012 2:48 pm @JZga. Brilliant comment. That's exactly what it was like!
July 22, 2012 12:34 am I just spent way too much time thinking about your comment and what boat Clark would be on. Definitely the Northwestern. Sig's a strait arrow, very paternal, and loves a hard worker. Plus, Clark doesn't have the sense of humor for another boat like the Time Bandit. And no one wants to be on the young guys' boats!
June 21, 2012 11:01 am Big Lug. That made me laugh.
June 18, 2012 4:20 pm I'd also love to know. I've had it in my Amazon wish list for ages and wonder if it's appropriate for my high school students.
June 18, 2012 4:12 pm I read the Trinity trade for the first time last night! Loved it.
June 18, 2012 4:09 pm BQ: Ferris Bueller at Chez Quis. I would be Sloan to Mike Romo's Cameron; it wouldn't just be lunch it would be a crazy adventure.
February 23, 2012 3:00 pm I am one of the women who loves this site and superhero comics. And so do my friends. Q.E.D.
